Villiera Game Drive & Wine Tasting
Embark on an approximately two-hour Game Drive through the Villiera Wildlife Sanctuary - a 230-hectare testament to our commitment to conservation. Created in conjunction with our neighbours, this sanctuary is accessed directly through our vineyards in Koelenhof and serves as a vital component of our determined indigenous tree-planting project, which has seen over 100,000 indigenous trees planted to mitigate our carbon footprint.
The Sanctuary includes 12 dams and marsh areas that attract a huge variety of birdlife. As you explore, look out for the wonderful array of introduced mammals, including: Giraffe, Kudu, Burchell's Zebra, Waterbuck, Eland, Gemsbok, Springbuck, Bontebok, Black Wildebeest, and smaller buck like Steenbuck, Grysbok, and common Duiker.
Your adventure concludes with a complimentary wine tasting back at the Wine Sanctuary.
