This cuvée is made 85 % from Old Vine Maccabeu, a Mediterranean (Catalan) grape variety. For extra complexity we have included 10% Grenache Blanc and 5% Grenache Gris in the blend. It truly represents an excellent expression of white wine from one of the most beautiful terroirs in France.
This wine presents both floral and mineral character with notes of wild fennel on the nose. The palate is dominated by freshness, fruit and elegance.
Produced in the Roussillon Region of France from vineyards owned by Villiera Wines South Africa.
