100 % unwooded dry red wine; classic red berry fruit and cherries with a hint of spice. Rich soft mouthfeel and fresh finish. Typical aromas of Grenache noir: red fruits and black cherry but also a liquorice finish which contributes to the very fragrant character of this wine. Ideal red wine for summer (slightly chilled); duck, steak fillet, tuna fish, tapas, more mature cheeses and Mediterranean style cuisine.
Produced in the Roussillon Region of France from vineyards owned by Villiera Wines South Africa.
