A rich, creamy yeasty aroma with a full, ripe toasty flavor on the palate finishing dry with a savory aftertaste. Maturation will occur at a quicker rate and should be consumed within 3 years of disgorgement.

This light Cap Classique is a blend of red and white grapes displaying light, balanced yeasty complexity synonymous with a wine made in this style.

This Cap Classique is made mostly from white grapes (Chardonnay) with a slightly sweeter taste. It is perfect for celebrations or with desserts.

The Down to Earth concept is to create a wine that can be enjoyed by all. The name implies that it has to be consistent, reliable and affordable. The wine has to offer interest but drinkability is paramount.

A floral, slightly spicy white wine which is fresh, light and slightly sweet but complex enough to drink with food (fusion and spicier dishes).

In keeping with the trend towards fruit driven wines this Sauvignon Blanc displays intense varietal character including passion fruit and a hint of green pepper.

The wine has abundant fruit with a hint of wood spice on the nose, including pineapple, guava and citrus. On the palate it is rich with a hint of freshness.

An explosion of spice and dark berry flavours with the tannin caressing the palate.

The 2020 vintage shows classic dark berry fruit with a hint of spice on the nose. On the palate it is well balanced with rich, soft tannins.

The colour of the wine is brilliant red. The aroma shows hints of wood spice and mint with attractive red berry fruit.

A new style Pinotage with subtle oak spice, plums, vanilla and a slight smokiness on the nose. On the palate it is soft but well structured with good length.

Monro Merlot is Villiera’s “Reserve” red, bottled under the historic family name “MONRO”. Intensely aromatic with forthcoming berry fruit and hints of chocolate, spice and vanilla.

The wine displays tropical fruit with a hint of pineapple, citrus and honey. It is fresh with oak playing a supporting role. The wine is full bodied with complexity and good maturation potential.

In 2014 Alexander Grier released his first Pinot Noir from the Hemel en Aarde under the Stand Alone label.

When Xander joined Villiera in 2018 he added to the range with a Gamay Noir from an old bush vine block planted on Villiera in 1981 – A single vineyard registered with the ‘Old Vine Project’.

The wine is fruit driven with intense berry and violet aromas and is well structured. It has grippy dry tannins, which have a moreish effect on the wine.

Lively and fresh to drink now with hints of brioche, raspberry and spice. The finesse on the mid palate extends to complexity on the finish and the use of Blanc de Noir in the blend lends an attractive coppery, golden hue to the appearance.

The delicate aromas ensure compatibility with food. It shows hints of red berries and a terroir based minerality with a fresh, light finish on the palate.

The wine clearly expresses the minerality and spice expected from the vineyard and it is supported by fruit and a hint of aniseed.

Typical aromas of Grenache noir: red fruits and black cherry but also a liquorice finish which contributes to the very fragrant character of this wine.

This Côtes du Roussillon Rouge cuvée is made from Mediterranean grape varieties from thirty-year-old vines, and truly represents the expression of “New World” winegrowers on one of the most beautiful terroirs in France.
