As a producer with a focus on Cap Classique, Villiera Wines is proud to announce that they were awarded Veritas Double Gold and Gold in the Cap Classique category.

It spends an average of 2 years on the lees (minimum 18 months). A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier this is a zesty Cap Classique displaying the full balanced yeasty complexity synonymous with a blend of white and red grapes.
This recognition of excellence for the Villiera Monro Brut, amongst its numerous other awards, is a further endorsement of the fine quality and exceptional style of Villiera's prestige wines.
As Double Gold and Gold winners, the Villiera Monro Brut 2011 and Villiera Tradition Brut NV will be included in the Veritas showcase tastings taking place in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth later this month.
